Apr 7, 2025 Spring has truly blossomed at Stowers Elementary School, bringing with it a season of growth and celebration. Our sensory garden is flourishing, providing a vibrant and engaging space for students to explore. We're also proud to honor our outstanding 4th and 5th grade scholars for their achievements. Additionally, our recent Math & Literacy Night was a resounding success, strengthening our bonds within the community and showcasing the incredible progress of our students. 🌸📚🌱
Mar 5, 2025 Exciting Start to the New Year at Stowers Elementary!
We are thrilled to announce that Stowers Elementary has had a fantastic start to the new year! Our students have been diligently working on their academic pursuits, demonstrating remarkable dedication and enthusiasm.
In addition to their academic achievements, our students have enjoyed a variety of engaging and fun learning activities. We were delighted to welcome visitors from Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, who provided hands-on experiences with nature and wildlife. The students also had a blast watching a vibrant performance of "Pinkalicious," which brought smiles and laughter to everyone.
As we move into spring, we eagerly anticipate more exciting events and opportunities for our students to learn and grow. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming activities and celebrations!
Feb 11, 2025 The first half of the school year at Stowers has been nothing short of remarkable. Our students have engaged in a variety of enriching activities that showcase their talents and dedication.
Global Collaboration: Students participated in an exciting global collaboration project, connecting with peers from around the world to share ideas and work on innovative solutions to real-world problems. This experience not only broadened their horizons but also fostered a sense of global citizenship.
Robotics Team Victory: Our competition robotics team achieved a significant milestone by securing a win in a prestigious tournament. Their hard work, creativity, and teamwork paid off, earning them recognition and inspiring others in the school community.
Leadership and Broadcasting: Leadership and broadcasting students had the unique opportunity to visit a local news station. They gained firsthand experience in the world of media, learning about the intricacies of news production and the importance of effective communication.
