Stowers Elementary's Math & Literacy Night: A Success for Students and Parents

Stowers Elementary hosted a fun and educational Math & Literacy Night for families on Thursday, March 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The event was filled with engaging activities that delighted both children and parents. Families had the opportunity to explore the Benchmark and Reveal Math curriculum currently in use, participate in extension activities such as learning about the water cycle and volcanoes, and sign a pledge to read over spring break.

In addition to the educational activities, there were plenty of fun attractions, including bracelet making, a book walk, a bouncy house, a fire engine, and a Stryker vehicle. The evening was made possible with the support of the Stowers PTO and the USO, who provided popcorn, as well as contributions from Texas Roadhouse and the Columbus River Dragons. It was a memorable evening that brought the community together in the spirit of learning and fun.
