Stowers Elementary School Broadcasting Team Engages Young Stars

     The broadcasting team at Stowers Elementary School, comprised of hard-working 4th and 5th grade students, has been extending a warm invitation to PreK and Kindergarten classrooms to visit the Innovation Lab. Here, the youngest members of the school community get the exciting opportunity to record the Pledge of Allegiance to be broadcast on the school’s morning announcements. 

     These recordings are more than just a fun activity; they provide the Stowers Static crew—a dedicated group responsible for the daily announcements at Stowers Elementary—with invaluable hands-on experience in directing, filming, and editing. This initiative not only enhances the technical skills of the older students but also gives the primary students a chance to shine in front of the camera, fostering confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

     The Innovation Lab, a hub of creativity and learning, has become a favorite spot for these budding broadcasters. The collaboration between different grade levels exemplifies the school's commitment to nurturing talent and encouraging teamwork. As the PreK and Kindergarten students step into the spotlight, they become the stars of the day, proudly contributing to the school's daily announcements.
